Moms Clean Air Force

Update: link to my article on the event can be found here

I recently discovered Moms Clean Air Force. After learning about this organization I was astounded at how a simple grassroots gathering of concerned parents and bloggers can transform into a powerful front. MCAF started in Ohio in 2011 to provide support for parents concerned in areas primarily of clean air and safe chemical usage. Today they are a force of 6,500 who have weighed in on legislation around the country.

On May 7th  Moms Clean Air Force Ohio will be bringing together passionate families in downtown Columbus. They will be presenting a united front to the Ohio Legislature showing that clean energy and clean air is a key issue for the future of America’s children.

You can join the Ohio Mama Summit 2014 at the YWCA in downtown Columbus as MCAF advocates for environmental issues that are important to Ohio’s families. Participants will meet with state elected officials and will enjoy a luncheon with legislative representatives. You are encouraged to bring your families (children are welcome!) and take part in this vital movement.
